This thread needs to be closed. Amy if u think spears are so crap, thats ur choice and ur just missing out. Stick to ur BHA theres no need for this argument. Either you are wrong, or the larger population with vastly more accumulated experience is wrong.

Notice that each time I suggest something that proves my point you not only ignore it, but you dont do as I ask. If this discussion is to continue with R/P Stunning Strike VS BHA make a RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOing build already. You have thrown out atleast 12 skills to make ur BHA build better. Combine 8 of them into a build that you think is the best so that we can compare builds. You have been arguing against my set of 8 skills with 2 many. I can pull skills out of my ass that can improve my buid as well.

At Igor, you are wrong about d-shot not being useful. It is useful so long as you dont try and use it on the dazed target. In areas with ruby Djinn I like BHA more because you can daze one, d-shot the others SF and (if theres a third) pain inverter the last one to get the instant kill so ur party only takes 1 lot of SF damage as opposed to the possibe 4 that the party would suffer in the time it takes to drop them.

Orite, u has a point, I just thought, a more spammable interrupt would be better to kill off things like meteor shower or dragon stomp, ones with long recharge, but honestly havent though of SF, of and maybe guardian although mobs use it badly enough for it to be a threat.

Besides, d-shot is so manly. ;o

To Amy,

first of all trying to catch people on words wont help your cause. Secondly what do you think i should do when my BHA recharges, hack gw servers and make it 0 recharge? Thats not worth it considerring the consequences imo, so you either bow the dazed guy or/and tab for a d-shot/savage, no?
Maybe I was wrong about d-shot, ok, havent thought of searing flames and such, but hey, I wasnt wrong the whole thread like you was I? So just stop posting, youre ruining a good thread kthx. :>

Also, dont use EA's to trigger daze, they have horrid AI from what I know and often will attack a completely different target and thats bad.

I haven't really found them to switch targets, they usually die fast so I'll be better to just ping the dazed enemy.

You can't trust people to observe objectively without a bias, including me. Numbers can be verified by everyone, what someone claims too have seen not and people tend to see what confirms their believes. Numbers > claims.

Ok, so now you still havent said youve tried it. All uve said is that im not "willing to listen to idea's and opinions of others." The funny thing is ur the only person NOT saying that the R/P is good. Infact you said "Spears aren't among them, honestly, a spear ranger is fail." in the 13th post of this thread. Noone but you has said that spears are "fail" or any other degetory term and then you have the audacity to say that I dont listen to the opinions of others.

In atleast 2 posts I have suggested things for you to do. 1) Try out the build, 2) Make ur own to compare it with, yet you do none of this.

To beat my R/P build you want to run conjure, epidemic, a pet, damage, d-shot and savage shot. Ok, lets set this up:

BHA, D-Shot, Savage Shot, Sloth Hunters Shot, Never Rampage Alone, Charm Animal Comfort Animal, Conjure. No this is unfair, you didnt suggest all these skills together ur gonna say. There are 8 skills that you have suggested to make ur build on par with the R/P, and I can say 1 thing... its a crap build. You cant have every skill in the game on ur bar, you have to choose 8. USING 8 SKILLS THE R/P > BHA.

Im gonna caps this so you can see it:

MAKE A BUILD THAT YOU THINK CAN BE COMPARED TO THE R/P FOR DOING WHAT ITS DOING, DAMAGE & DAZED SHUTDOWN.

Arguing that BHA is better with a million skills is like saying, if I could bring another 10 skills on the R/P's bar it would be infinately better coz of more pet damaging skills, blazing spear, wild throw etc. However I have argued my point with 8 skills, and ur using over 10. Make up you're mind. If you are right then you should have no problem coming up with a BHA bar that does better then the R/P.

Till then, please dont post saying I cant listen to opinions.

If you'd wanted to openly discuss the options you wouldn't have combined suggestions into builds to declare them crap, but you would have rationally discussed the pros and cons of the various options. Hypocrisy +1

Haven't read the whole thread, because the "no u" argument was quite boring from the start.
Spear chuckers are very good in HM. Whether you take a pet and get a meatshield, or don't and focus on condition spamming, you win. As said you can get daze from stunning strike, deep wound from merciless, big damage + charger from spear of fury, apply, barbed...

And if you miss having stunning strike recharged when engaging a boss, well fight another group, get it charged, run in within 20seconds. Downside = have to kill one more group.

Having no interrupt can be annoying, but hey nothing to interrupt if things are dead.

You are not discussing anymore but just flaming each other. I have to say I am also quite untrustworthy to the usage of weapons not typical for a profession such as scythes for warriors or hammers for sins. However I have to say spear ranger is quite nice. The only drawback for me is its short range. I am a longbow guy so spear even if it works quite well it is not enough for me. I will stay with my bow on my player/hero rangers not because it is better but because I am quite conservative.

With the added HP + Armor provided by the shield I don't worry too much about being closed. I typically get in close anyway when playing Interupt Ranger.
